The direct answer

Whop lists a base US card processing fee of 2.7% plus $0.30 per transaction and no monthly platform charge. Extra services and payment conditions can add fees.

A $100 base-fee example

At the listed base US card rate, a $100 sale has a $3 processing fee: $2.70 plus $0.30. That leaves $97 before other fees, taxes, refunds, and your business costs.

This is a base-fee example. It is not a promise about your payout. Your account, payment method, buyer location, and enabled services determine the final charges.

Check each enabled service

The pricing page lists billing at 0.5% when enabled, payment orchestration at 0.8% when enabled, and tax services at 2% when enabled and tax is collected. It also lists additional charges for international cards and currency conversion.

Affiliate processing fees are separate from the commission you agree to pay an affiliate. Payout method charges can also differ. Read the current pricing page and account settings before deciding what to include.

  • Which optional services are enabled?
  • Is the buyer's payment international?
  • Is currency conversion required?
  • Does an affiliate commission or payout charge apply?

Price the whole delivery

Payment fees are only one part of the cost. Include the time you spend teaching, moderating, answering questions, and replacing materials. A membership needs a delivery budget for each month, even if members use the product at different times.

Use a small sample of actual transactions to confirm the estimate. Record the sale value, each fee, and the amount retained. Do not compare a pre-fee revenue number with a bank payout as if they were the same measure.

Use the calculator with care

Our calculator starts with the base US card fee. You can add the listed extra fees and your own additional cost. It shows the estimate for one transaction and a repeated set of equal transactions.

The calculator does not calculate taxes owed, legal obligations, chargebacks, or refunds. Update its inputs to match your settings. Check actual charges in Whop before you change a selling price.
